The Past

The company was incorporated for the purpose of registering the patent covering the phantom developed by Dr. Josip Nosil, who became its President and CEO. Since the date of its incorporation, November 9, 2012, the company has been producing and marketing the patent.

Dr. Josip Nosil, the President, and CEO of the company was prepared for the present time. His previous consulting business as the sole proprietor (named Radiation Physics of Calgary, in Alberta in 1989, and afterward changed the name to Dr. Nosil and Associates, Medical Physicists, when he relocated to Victoria, BC). Dr. Nosil previously provided consulting services based on the use of Imaging Phantoms to many customers in Alberta, BC, and outside of Canada from 1988 to 2002.

As International Advisor to the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors, Inc. (CRCPD's) Committee on Dental Imaging, and advisor and member of other CDRH Committees Dr. Nosil tested phantoms and x-ray units.

As a Hospital Employee and later as a Private Physics Consultant Dr. Nosil inspected more than a thousand dental units over a period of 22 years and improved on the FDA Dental Phantom, eventually developing his phantoms for dental testing. Dr. Nosil developed new Expose Control Phantom (AEC) Phantom for testing in Mammography. FDA was recommended Dr. Nosil’s AEC Phantom for use in mammography. He published over 144 Research Items in ResearchGate, from scientific journals, presented contributions, and work selected three times for the Year Book, and other.

Dr. NosiI changed the culture in mammography. His invented way of testing using his AEC Phantom was recommended by FDA, early during his Hospital Employment. He was first an adviser to, and then a member of, the FDA CDRH Mammography Committee, and also implemented CAR/ACR Accreditation Standards in BC. This improved Image Quality using ACR Mammography Phantom and protocol in mammography. Dr. Nosil was also the first CCMP Certified Mammography Medical Physicist in BC.

Dr. Nosil:

• implemented the use of phantoms in CT in 1979 in FH, Calgary, Alberta;
• built many phantoms, and had some papers published in cooperation with University of Calgary Departments of Psychiatry, Physics, and Engineering;
• made many Phantoms in Nuclear Medicine and implemented their use in practice by the change in culture;
• in the past has worked with professional organizations and government regulation offices to achieve the best outcome.

The Present

All experiences acquired previously, is ready to implement as an Inc. Company.

The company is the registered owner of the and U.S. patent on the phantom technology and use developed by its shareholder, Dr. Josip Nosil and is currently in the process of obtaining the second USA patent and the Canadian patent.

The company was incorporated under the British Columbia Corporations Act on the 9th of November, 2012.

Dr. Nosil is the sole Director of the Company, and President, and I hold all of its issued shares.

Dr. Nosil wound up his General Physics Consulting business to dedicate all his time to:

• Phantom Patent,
• Production,
• Marketing, and
• Providing consulting services on IQ(D)P to all Phantom Customers.
